Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Local SEO Legends (“Local SEO Legends,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, request an audit, contact us, purchase or use SEO Ranker, including citation management, connect business profiles or third-party accounts, or otherwise use our websites, applications, tools, reports, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Managing Your Information Preferences

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing communications using the unsubscribe method in those messages. Privacy requests may be submitted through our Contact page.

2. Information You Choose to Submit

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, business name, website, business address, business-profile information, keywords, messages, support requests, photos, videos, review-request contacts, service preferences, and other information you choose to provide. When you purchase a subscription, billing and payment information is collected by our payment processor. We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

3. Information We Automatically Collect

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of access, and interactions with the Services. We use this information to operate, secure, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

4. Cookies, Pixels, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, session technologies, and similar tools to keep the Services functioning, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, prevent fraud, and understand how visitors use the Services. Depending on the tools enabled on our website, service providers may include analytics or advertising platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, or similar providers. You may be able to limit cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

5. Connected Google Accounts, Business Profiles, and Other Platforms

If you connect a Google account, Google Business Profile, social account, directory account, website, or other third-party platform, we and the technology providers supporting the Services may access and process information you authorize through that platform’s permission process. This may include business details, posts, reviews, images, performance data, listing information, and other data needed to provide the features you request. We use connected-platform information only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Services and to comply with applicable platform policies.

6. How We Use Information

We may use information to provide audits and reports; create and maintain accounts; provide SEO Ranker, including citation management and related services; optimize Google Business Profiles and local listings; generate recommendations and content; manage reviews, citations, social publishing, video workflows, website SEO, reporting, and AI-search visibility features; process payments; communicate with you; provide support; detect fraud, abuse, or security incidents; maintain records; improve and develop our Services; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our agreements.

7. Service Providers and Technology Partners

We may disclose information to trusted service providers that perform functions on our behalf or provide technology used to deliver the Services. These may include payment processors, cloud hosting providers, email and communications providers, analytics providers, customer-management and automation tools, search and mapping platforms, directory and citation providers, and technology providers that support SEO Ranker, audits, reviews, reporting, social publishing, local search optimization, and related functionality. We provide such providers only the information reasonably necessary to perform the applicable services, subject to our agreements with them and applicable law.

If our website AI assistant is enabled, the text you submit in that chat may be transmitted to an artificial-intelligence service provider, such as OpenAI, solely to generate a response and operate the support experience. Do not submit passwords, full payment-card numbers, Google verification codes, or other highly sensitive information in the chat. We may also use controlled, non-AI responses for common questions.

If you choose the assistant’s Live Talk feature, your browser may use its speech-recognition service to convert microphone audio into text. Local SEO Legends does not intentionally receive or store the raw microphone audio through this feature; we receive the resulting text when it is submitted to the assistant. Speech recognition and text-to-speech availability and processing may depend on your browser, device, operating system, and the browser provider’s services and privacy practices. Microphone access begins only after you choose to start Live Talk and grant browser permission.

8. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe where applicable. Payment processors may collect payment-card, billing, fraud-prevention, and transaction information directly from you. Their handling of payment information is governed by their own privacy policies and security practices.

9. Communications

We may use your contact information to send service notifications, payment receipts, account notices, audit results, support responses, security messages, and other transactional communications. Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional or educational communications. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications, but you may continue to receive transactional or service-related messages while you have an account or active relationship with us.

10. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf; to third-party platforms you choose to connect; when you direct or authorize us to do so; to complete a transaction or provide a requested service; to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Local SEO Legends, our users, or others; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business or assets; or when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.

11. Aggregated and De-Identified Information

We may create, use, and disclose aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual or specific customer. We may use such information for analytics, benchmarking, security, service improvement, research, and business operations, subject to applicable law.

12. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts and business records, process payments, fulfill contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, prevent fraud, and protect our systems. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and purpose of processing.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. These measures are designed to protect information from unauthorized access, destruction, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission, website, cloud service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you provide information at your own risk.

14. External Sites and Third-Party Services

The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the policies of each third-party service you use.

15. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

16. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights under applicable privacy laws, which may include the right to request access to categories or specific pieces of personal information, correction, deletion, portability, information about sources and purposes of collection, and information about categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed. Where applicable, you may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights provided by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

To exercise an applicable state privacy right, submit a request through our Contact page. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, subject to permitted extensions and exceptions.

17. Categories of Information and Business Purposes

Depending on how you use the Services, the categories of information we may process can include identifiers and contact information; internet or electronic network activity; approximate geolocation information; commercial and transaction information; professional or business information; customer-support communications; connected-account and business-profile information; and inferences or analytics generated from the foregoing. We use these categories for the business purposes described in this Policy, including providing and maintaining accounts and Services, processing payments, detecting security incidents and fraud, debugging, improving and verifying service quality, analytics, auditing transactions and compliance, customer support, and legal compliance.

18. International Users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate mechanisms for international data transfers.

19. European Union and United Kingdom Residents

If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies to our processing of your personal data, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing, and you may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The lawful basis for processing depends on the context and may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with legal obligations. Requests may be submitted through our Contact page.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice or request consent when required by law. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
